Manchester United's young midfield star Jesse Lingard suffered a hamstring injury during the Red Devils' Nov. 25 Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven. However, he is ready to return to action.

Lingard's emergence has been key for United this season. He has proved to be one of their brightest attacking sparks alongside newcomer Anthony Martial, especially considering the disappointing form of captain Wayne Rooney.

It's likely Lingard's form of late and the creativity he adds to the side was the reason he returned straight back into the starting XI.
