Chelsea Transfer News: Harry Kane Warning, Latest Blues Rumours
Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has warned Chelsea off pursuing striker Harry Kane and insisted that the Englishman will stay put at White Hart Lane.
Kane has emerged as a key target for the Blues next summer as they look to bolster their attacking unit, with Diego Costa's place as the No. 1 striker at Stamford Bridge "under review," per MailOnline's Sami Mokbel.

However, Pochettino has insisted that Chelsea will be disappointed in their pursuit of Kane as the 22-year-old will opt to stay at Spurs, much like goalkeeper Hugo Lloris did in the summer when he turned down Manchester United, per Riath Al-Samarrai of the MailOnline:
"I am happy that a big club want our player - this is because they show they are a top player with top performances. It is good when they are linked.
But Harry, like Hugo, wants to stay here. He is one of the best players and he is very happy.
He wants to grow up with us and try the next few years to try for the top four and win titles with Tottenham. This is his challenge.
"
After a lacklustre start to the season, Kane has hit a rich vein of form and has netted nine times in his last six Spurs performances, per WhoScored.com.
He claimed the winner as Tottenham beat Qarabag 1-0 on Thursday to confirm their place in the last 32 of the Europa League, per BT Sport:
Kane's Premier League goal tally of eight for the 2015-16 season is the same as the combined return of Blues forwards Costa, Eden Hazard, Willian, Radamel Falcao, Pedro and Oscar.
It is somewhat unsurprising, then, that Jose Mourinho is reportedly eager to add Kane to his misfiring front line.
The England international is proving his consistency this season after netting 21 goals in his breakout league campaign in 2014-15.
Spurs would undoubtedly be loath to let him go, especially to one of their fierce rivals, and it seems Kane is currently eager to stay on at White Hart Lane, with his contract tying him to the north London club until 2020.
Chelsea will be facing Kane on Sunday when they visit Tottenham in the Premier League, and Mourinho's side are in desperate need of a win as they currently lie in 15th place after a miserable start to the season.
January additions are likely needed if Chelsea are to turn their season around and Leicester City's Jamie Vardy is reportedly one of the Blues' targets for the winter transfer window, per Darren Lewis and Dave Kidd in the Mirror.
Vardy has been immense this season in the Premier League, netting 13 times in as many games as the Foxes have risen to the top of the league.
While romantics would prefer the 28-year-old to stay with Leicester, Chelsea will undoubtedly be able to offer him very tempting financial incentives that could persuade him to move to Stamford Bridge.
