Bulaga Crucial Contributor to Packers Line
Bulaga has been a staple of the Packers offensive line when healthy over the past six seasons. The problem for him is that he has had trouble staying on the field. In a three-year stretch from 2011-2013, Bulaga missed 27 games.
He missed three games earlier this season because of a sprained MCL.
Green Bay's offensive line has been struggling this year, too, with 24 sacks allowed, so quarterback Aaron Rodgers has experienced plenty of pressure in the pocket. The run game that was to feature Eddie Lacy hasn't been great either, ranking 16th in the league.
Offensive tackle Don Barclay filled in for Bulaga once he left the game. Barclay has appeared in all 10 of Green Bay's previous games, starting three, so there is a replacement who has experience on the Green Bay line if Bulaga is limited in his return.
