Twitter Reacts to Tottenham Hotspur's 1-0 Win vs. Qarabag in Europa League

Tottenham Hotspur visited Qarabag on Thursday evening, looking for three points to seal progression to the next stage of the Europa League.

Mauricio Pochettino had a wee bit of a conundrum on his hands: Start a full-strength lineup for the trip to Azerbaijan in order to seal qualification or rest some of his stars for Sunday's visit by Chelsea:

In a dull first half, Hugo Lloris was called upon to make a save with half-time looming. Fans weren't too impressed with the display:

Son Heung-min and Dele Alli hit the woodwork before Harry Kane was denied as Spurs looked, without success, to threaten the Qarabag goal:

At least their failure to break through had their rivals smiling:

And they weren't the only ones having fun with the home side's name:

But all of a sudden, there was something to talk about other than the Azerbaijan side's name.

Harry Kane nodded home after Christian Eriksen's corner was flicked on to register his ninth goal in six games:

His side held on to win 1-0 and book their spot in the Europa League's last 32. Tottenham fans were smiling again:
