Daily Fantasy Hockey 2015: DraftKings NHL Optimal Lineup for November 27
Pavel Datsyuk is still a magical player. Slowed by injuries at the start of the year that kept him out of the Detroit Red Wings lineup, Datsyuk has returned and is starting to hit his stride.
Datsyuk has scored goals in each of his last two games, and when he put the puck in the net past Jonas Gustavsson of the Boston Bruins Wednesday night, it was the 300th goal of his spectacular career. Datsyuk is a magician with the puck, and he is constantly creating on the ice. He has an array of moves that allow him to get open in the prime scoring areas, but his best attribute is his ability to set up his teammates.

Draft Lottery Winners and Losers
The Red Wings will be at home Friday night against the Edmonton Oilers, a team that appears to be improving but still has great difficulty playing 60 consistent minutes. The Red Wings are coming off a stinging 3-2 overtime loss to Boston, and that game hurt because they dominated for long stretches but couldn't come away with the two points.
Look for Detroit to match the effort it had against Boston, and it could result in four or more goals versus Edmonton. We expect Datsyuk to score multiple points and lead the way.
We have $50,000 to spend on our post-Thanksgiving Day roster, and we believe we have put together a winning roster for the seven games that will be played Friday night.
| C | Pavel Datsyuk, Detroit | Edmonton | 2.9 | $5,400 |
| C | Henrik Sedin, Vancouver | Dallas | 3.2 | $4,900 |
| W | Jamie Benn, Dallas | Vancouver | 5.5 | $8,400 |
| W | Johnny Gaudreau, Calgary | Arizona | 3.4 | $6,100 |
| W | Tomas Tatar, Detroit | Edmonton | 2.9 | $5,000 |
| D | John Klingberg, Dallas | Vancouver | 3.8 | $5,900 |
| D | Travis Hamonic, N.Y. Islanders | Florida | 2.5 | $3,800 |
| G | Jimmy Howard, Detroit | Edmonton | 4.1 | $7,100 |
| U | Lars Eller, Montreal | New Jersey | 2.1 | $3,300 |
Centers: Pavel Datsyuk, Detroit Red Wings ($5,400) and Henrik Sedin, Vancouver Canucks ($4,900)
Datsyuk's ability to handle the puck and play keep-away from the defense has been quite effective against the Oilers. He played two games against them last season and scored two goals and two assists.

Henrik Sedin continues to be productive for the Vancouver Canucks, as he has scored seven goals and 15 assists in 23 games. Sedin has scored at least one point in each of his last five games, and he had an impressive five-point game (one goal and four assists) November 21 against the Chicago Blackhawks.
That is significant because he had his best game against the reigning Stanley Cup champions. He gets another chance to show what he can do against the league's iron with the Canucks playing at Dallas. Sedin should be good for a goal and an assist in what looks like a high-scoring game.

Wings: Jamie Benn, Dallas Stars ($8,400), Johnny Gaudreau, Calgary Flames ($6,100) and Tomas Tatar, Detroit Red Wings ($5,000)
When you are limited to a $50,000 salary cap, you can't fill your lineup with superstars because you will run out of money quickly. But you do have an opportunity to select one or two, and we did not hesitate with a chance to pick Jamie Benn.
After winning the league's scoring title a year ago, Benn is off to a brilliant start with 16 goals and 16 assists. He has scored at least a point in his last six games, and he can score multiple points for the Stars when they host the Vancouver Canucks Friday night. Benn is a no-doubt starter in our lineup.
Johnny Gaudreau was one of the key players behind the Flames' rise last year, when they earned a surprising spot in the Western Conference playoffs. While his team is not playing the same kind of thrilling, come-from-behind hockey this season, Gaudreau continues to produce and has become one of the most exciting players in the sport.
Gaudreau has scored five goals and 15 assists in the Flames' 22 games. He should be on top of his game when he takes the ice Friday night at Arizona against the Coyotes.

Tomas Tatar has excellent offensive talent, and he put his skills on display Wednesday night. He jumped off the bench midway through the second period and twisted a lightning-quick wrist shot into the upper reaches of the net against the Bruins for a goal that gave Detroit a 2-1 lead.
Tatar has excellent offensive instincts, and he is especially good at jumping into the prime scoring areas and getting his shot away quickly or firing a pass to an open teammate. He has 15 points this season and should be able to take advantage of the sometimes-shaky Edmonton defense.

Defensemen: John Klingberg, Dallas Stars ($5,900) and Travis Hamonic, New York Islanders ($3,800)
John Klingberg has quickly become one of the most productive offensive defensemen in the NHL, and he has been one of the keys behind the Stars' excellent start this season.
Klingberg is not a huge physical presence who will block a ton of shots or throw bone-rattling checks, but he ignites the Stars' explosive offense. He has scored four goals and 20 assists in 22 games this season, and he is a pinpoint passer with an accurate shot. Look for a multiple-point night against the Canucks.
Travis Hamonic is a solid pro who plays a complete game for the Islanders. While he has scored just one goal and five assists, he is a good puck mover and very smart. He is also tough and physical, as indicated by the 70 hits he has been credited with this season.
Hamonic wants a trade from the Islanders due to family considerations, and that should only make him play harder when the Islanders travel to Florida to play the Panthers.

Goalie: Jimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings ($7,100)
The Red Wings have been alternating between Jimmy Howard and Petr Mrazek in goal, and Howard is scheduled to be in the lineup Friday night against the Oilers.
Howard has a 5-4-1 record with a 2.34 goals-against average, a .917 save percentage and one shutout. After the Red Wings let a win slip away from them Wednesday night despite outplaying the Bruins, look for Howard's teammates to back him with an inspired effort. He should get the win and keep the Oilers to two goals or less.
