Barea Loss Was Damaging to Mavs' Depth

Barea is a capable backup who provides an offensive spark and has a place in the heart of Dallas fans for his key contribution to the team's run to the 2011 NBA title.

Deron Williams and Raymond Felton are both capable ball-handlers who have actually started alongside each other at times this season. Devin Harris also comes off the bench to provide Dallas with another savvy veteran who can run the point. With Barea back, the team now has more flexibility in its backcourt.
