5 Monday Morning NFL Thoughts
Another great weekend of football has come and gone, here are five thoughts floating around in my mind this morning.
1. Vincent Jackson - Is he finally becoming the stud WR I thought he would be this season? So far in two games he has 11 catches, 197 yards and 2 TDs. I used to have two of his Exquisite Auto /5 Patches...I'm guessing I will want those back at some point in time this season.
2. Chiefs vs. Raiders - putrid, smelly, disgusting and atrocious. Two anemic offenses doing battle in Kansas City. The Chiefs find a way to lose at the end, thanks to a bad decision at the end of the first half. You can't throw the ball to the middle of the field without any time outs. Jamarcus Russell manages to win a game where he was 7 for 24 for 109 yards. Wow, in last 27 regular season games, the Chiefs are 2-25.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
3. Drew Brees - I wound up autodrafting in one of my fantasy leagues this year, just couldn't make it to the live draft. At first I was bitter about this, until it auto drafted Drew Brees for me...no longer bitter...what a stud.
4. Frank Gore - wow! I'm going to go ahead and guess that Sunday is the only time this season he will have two ~80 yard touchdown runs.
5. Mark Sanchez - although he has not been doing anything spectacular, he has not been making mistakes either, which is spectacular for a rookie. Thus far he has two wins to show for it, one of which is over the Patriots. He appears headed for a Matt Ryan type season this year and J-E-T-S fans must feel very thankful to have him...and not have Mr. Drama Queen.
