Cam Newton Hands Out Touchdown Footballs to Young Fans During Win vs. Washington

Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has received his fair share of criticism throughout the years, most recently for celebrating a touchdown.

However, when you see these clips from Sunday's 44-16 victory over the Washington Redskins, you'll realize that the NFL should want a lot more players like Newton in the league.

Newton threw for 246 yards and a career-high five touchdowns in Sunday's win. After each touchdown, as he usually does, he found a young fan in the stands to give the football to.

That's just what he did during the game. Before the contest, the Panthers star spent some time with a young fan:
