'They're Stupid Wet': Marshawn Lynch's Reveals His 2nd Signature Beast Mode Shoe

Don't look now, but Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch is getting an update to his very own signature sneaker. The shoe, fittingly dubbed Beast Mode "Royale Chukka," arrives courtesy of Brooklyn-based sneaker brand, Greats.

Lynch's first collaboration with Greats sold out in under an hour and the second iteration has been in the works for a while, Greats CEO Ryan Babenzien told Mashable.

An all-black base, sprinkled with a gold collar creates an exclusive colorway that any consumer can get behind.

With this limited edition Black Friday release, Lynch has pushed himself into the lifestyle sneaker conversation. And unlike a lot of kicks out there on the market today, the Beast Mode "Royale Chukkas" can also be dubbed smart shoes.

Thanks to companies Chronicled, Inc. and Identiv Lab pushing the boundaries of technology, each pair of the Beast Mode "Royale Chukkas" comes equipped with a smart tag. That allows consumers to scan their sneakers with an iPhone or Android device, launching a complete digital profile that a user can engage with.

November 27, Black Friday, is the day a limited run of these Beast Mode kicks release on Greats.com. Be sure to keep it locked there if you want to secure yourself a pair.
