WWE Survivor Series 2015: Biggest Unanswered Questions Going into Event

Donald WoodNov 21, 2015

Survivor Series is scheduled to be one of the biggest pay-per-views of the year for WWE, but there are several major unanswered questions on the minds of wrestling fans as Sunday's show approaches.

From questions about which two members of The Wyatt Family will face the Brothers of Destruction to the debate about which Superstar will walk out of the PPV with the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, Survivor Series is shaping up to be unforgettable.

Here are the answers to the biggest questions heading into Survivor Series 2015.

Who Will Fight for The Wyatt Family?

The Undertaker and Kane are teaming up to take on two unnamed members of The Wyatt Family, and the WWE Universe is left wondering what the match will be.

The most obvious participant should be Luke Harper. As the most skilled in-ring worker of the heel stable, he can do most of the heavy lifting against the Brothers of Destruction and will be the best at selling and taking their moves.

As for the second Wyatt in the match, it will come down to Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman. Erick Rowan has done nothing since making his return in October, but Wyatt and Strowman have been booked strong.

The most likely scenario involves a sitting Wyatt on the outside calling the shots for his team while Harper and Strowman do all the hard work, but the two members not in the match will undoubtedly get involved in some form.

The hope is The Wyatt Family finally earns a victory in a marquee bout.

Which Superstar Walks Out World Champion?

The injury to Seth Rollins was a devastating blow to WWE, but the company acted quickly and decided it would crown a new champion via a tournament. On Sunday, we’ll have two semifinal matchups and the final singles bout for the belt.

In the battle between Roman Reigns and Alberto Del Rio, the stage has been set for Reigns to advance. On the other side of the bracket, it’s a genuine toss-up between Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose.

On one hand, an Ambrose win would create a dream matchup between Reigns and the Lunatic Fringe for the championship. The other possibility is Owens stealing a win from Ambrose and advancing to the final to give Reigns a viable heel to battle.

Regardless of which Superstar advances between Owens and Ambrose, all signs point to Reigns winning the championship. The ultimate X-factor, though, could be Sheamus and his Money in the Bank contract.

A cash-in attempt would shake the title scene to its core.

Who Will Participate in Survivor Series Match?

WWE announced there will be a traditional Survivor Series tag team match on Sunday, but the company has not revealed the participants thus far.

With talented performers such as The New Day, The Dudley Boyz, the Lucha Dragons, Ryback and many others not currently booked for a match, the possibilities are endless for five-man team combinations.

For the team of good guys, The Usos will undoubtedly be involved, but they will need three other teammates. Ryback is a natural fit, but there is a plethora of talent from which to fill the last two spots. While The Dudley Boyz sound like an ideal addition, watch for Cesaro and Neville to get involved.

As for the bad guys, The New Day will take up the first three spots, and it is likely WWE will be adding two challengers for Cesaro and Neville. That likely indicates Stardust and King Barrett may be added to the bout.

Fans should be excited to see this bout, as it is the only traditional Survivor Series match on the PPV card.
