Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyler Breeze: Winner, Reaction from WWE Survivor Series 2015

Mike ChiariNov 22, 2015

Tyler Breeze made his pay-per-view debut on the main roster in style Sunday night at Survivor Series by defeating two-time world champion Dolph Ziggler.

WWE provided a photo of Breeze taking his own photo after the win:

In a match with plenty of memorable moments, WWE highlighted the best of the bunch:

Kevin Berge of Wrestle Enigma provided his thoughts on the result:

Breeze was called up to the WWE roster several weeks ago and immediately took aim at The Showoff. Ziggler had resisted Summer Rae's advances, which prompted her to join forces with Prince Pretty instead.

After watching her new man take out one of her old flings, Summer seemed quite confident that she had made the right decision:

In subsequent weeks, Breeze attacked Ziggler and scouted his matches, which ultimately led to them clashing at one of WWE's biggest events.

Although their rivalry was put on the back burner for a period of time due to their involvement in the tournament to crown a new WWE world heavyweight champion, it didn't take long for the feud to rekindle ahead of Survivor Series.

There is no question that Breeze and Ziggler have a lot of similarities, which is why many fans were hopeful that they would meet one day back when the King of Cuteville was still part of NXT.

They have already proved to have great chemistry, which is something Breeze was confident in when asked about it in an out-of-character interview with Aaron Oster of Rolling Stone:

"

As soon as I found out that I was going to be with Dolph, I let out a sigh of relief, because I knew that me and him are going to have good chemistry, and have matches that people are going to want to see. It's definitely going to give a good first impression of what Tyler Breeze can do on the main roster. I'm looking forward to everything that we're about to do. He's a good guy to be across the ring from.

"

Breeze's comments proved clairvoyant, as he and Ziggler put on an entertaining match at Survivor Series despite not necessarily being a featured part of the show.

With a new world champion set to be crowned and The Undertaker's 25th anniversary celebration taking place, it would have been easy to overlook Breeze and Ziggler's spot on the card.

Both Superstars have a penchant for stealing the show with their in-ring performances, though, and they showed why they are considered to be two of the best workers WWE has to offer.

Most probably expected Breeze to come out on top Sunday since it was his first big match on the main roster, and WWE delivered in that regard by putting even more heat on the new heel in the form of a victory.

While Breeze struck first, it is safe to assume that his issues with Ziggler haven't yet been resolved. This has the makings of a feud that could last at least one more pay-per-view and perhaps even go through the Royal Rumble.

Ziggler has proved over the years that he has no problem putting others over, but the Creative team must make sure it figures out a way to keep both Ziggler and Breeze looking strong throughout the feud.
