WWE Survivor Series 2015: Predictions for Event's Biggest Stars

Donald WoodNov 19, 2015

The 2015 edition of WWE’s Survivor Series is setting up to be a memorable show, and a card filled with intriguing matchups and top stars has wrestling fans excited.

With huge storylines potentially unfolding for top stars like Roman Reigns, Undertaker and Charlotte, Survivor Series should be the next major step on the Road to WrestleMania 32.

Here is what to expect from the biggest stars at Survivor Series.

Roman Reigns

Like him or not, there is no one in line for a bigger day at Survivor Series than Roman Reigns.

As the heavy favorite in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament, there are few fans who believe anyone else has a real chance to walk out with the title. Sheamus could cash in and trump this plan, but it’s clear Reigns will at least win the tournament to hold the belt momentarily.

Reigns is the hand-chosen star and the wrestler WWE is hitching its wagon to heading into the future. While he clearly struggles on the mic and is not the best in-ring worker, he has the "it" factor the company is looking for in a top guy.

The best possible outcome the WWE Universe could ask for would be Reigns turning his back on Ambrose in the finals of the tournament and aligning himself with The Authority after winning the title.

Just like The Rock at Survivor Series Deadly Games 1998, Reigns turning heel would shake the wrestling industry to its core and build legitimate intrigue for the road to WrestleMania.

Undertaker

The Wyatt Family has looked incredibly strong at times heading into Survivor Series, but the real focus will be on The Undertaker as he celebrates his 25th anniversary of debuting with WWE.

Undertaker is a bona fide legend and how he is treated Sunday will indicate where he goes next in this storyline. A victory would allow him to move away from The Wyatt Family, but a loss would ensure he continues to feud with Bray Wyatt and his brothers.

The hope is The Wyatt Family gets back a much-needed victory after taking several unnecessary losses, and that the battle between Undertaker and Bray Wyatt turns into a second singles matchup.

Undertaker needs someone to work with who will know how to protect him, and Wyatt’s slow and methodical style is exactly what the company needs. The Deadman will be a major part of WrestleMania 32, and an extended feud with the Wyatt Family is exactly what he needs to build hype moving forward.

Charlotte

There was little heat heading into the Divas Championship match between Charlotte and Paige, but the go-home episode of Raw amplified the animosity tenfold with the inclusion of comments regarding Charlotte’s deceased brother.

There are some wrestling fans who think the segment on Raw was offensive and over the top, but for those who yearn for a more adult-themed product, this was a great moment that forced people to take note of the storyline.

Charlotte is undoubtedly going to win the matchup after her foe used a line about her dead brother Monday, but wrestling fans should brace for one of the best women’s PPV matches in a long time.
