Didier Drogba Tells How Chelsea Distracted Arjen Robben Before CL Final Penalty
Didier Drogba has recalled a number of fascinating stories from Chelsea's famous Champions League win over Bayern Munich in 2012 as part of his new autobiography, Commitment, serialised by the Daily Mail on Wednesday.
Arjen Robben was the victim of one such incident, with Drogba revealing how he and Frank Lampard distracted their former Chelsea team-mate before his penalty in the final at the Allianz Arena.
"Arjen, you're a Chelsea player, you can't do this! Don't do it! Anyway, we'll know where you're going to shoot," Drogba recalls telling the Bayern Munich star, who's kick was promptly saved by Petr Cech.
