I know that the site is strictly for sports reporting, but any exposure to the Penn State campus regarding this would greatly help.

Joseph Dado, 18, was last seen at 3 a.m. Sunday leaving Phi Gamma Delta, 319 N. Burrowes Road, walking toward East Halls. But Dado's roommate said he never returned to his Tener Hall dorm room, and he has not returned e-mails or cell phone calls since he was last seen.

Family and police have searched the campus, and early Monday afternoon a search by air was being conducted by a state police helicopter. University police issued an alert asking police in Centre County to be on the lookout for Dado.

They also are visiting his classes on Monday to see if Dado attends and to inform classmates and faculty of the search, urging them to contact police with any information they may have, according to the university.

Dado is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall and about 160 pounds. He has a tan complexion, dark brown hair, and a medium build.

He was wearing a navy blue hooded sweatshirt with a yellow T-shirt underneath, jeans and tennis shoes.

Anyone with information about Dado should contact University Police at 863-1111, or call Centre County Crime Stoppers at (877) 99-CRIME [27463] or visit http://www.police.psu.edu/witness
