Arsenal Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Oguzhan Ozyakup and Harry Donovan
Former Arsenal midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup is prepared to spurn the Gunners' advances this winter and remain with Turkish outfit Besiktas. Meanwhile, academy player Harry Donovan has sealed a move to Millwall.
Netherlands-born Ozyakup made just three senior appearances during his stay at the Emirates Stadium between 2008 and 2012, and he isn't interested in moving back to north London this January, per James Cambridge of the Daily Express: "There are a lot of rumours but I am not interested. My only goal is to win the league with Besiktas this season."
The 23-year-old couldn't tie down a place in manager Arsene Wenger's plans, but Ozyakup has excelled since moving to Istanbul three years ago for a fee of just £500,000.

Cambridge cited Turkish newspaper AMK, which reported Wenger has sent scouts to watch his former protege in action after managing to rack up three goals and five assists in 10 Super Lig appearances this season.
The move away from north London appears to have given the player the prominence he needed to start realising his potential, but there's no guarantees that prominence would carry back to the Premier League.
In any case, it seems Arsenal will have to wait until next summer at the earliest to make their move after Besiktas president Fikret Orman insisted Ozyakup won't be sold this January, per Football Italia:
"I will not change the squad during the campaign, as that would go against what the coach asked us.
Selling now would only create confusion among the players. If we managed to win the League title, their value would also increase.
We will sit down and talk to interested clubs at the end of the season.
"
The Gunners academy graduate has also gained 12 caps for Turkey's national team, making his debut just a year after leaving the English capital for Istanbul.
OptaCan put into numbers what a prolific asset the playmaker has been for Besiktas this season, helping guide the Black Eagles to the top of the Super Lig:
Ozyakup is sure to feel some sense of redemption following word the club who allowed him to leave are hoping to once again sign him, but a move at this point could risk derailing his progress.
Speaking of academy members leaving Arsenal's ranks, Wenger bid farewell to Donovan this week after Metro's Jamie Sanderson confirmed the teenager had joined Millwall on a free transfer.
John Kelly of Southwark News reported Donovan would join the Lions' under-18s:
Sanderson claimed Donovan had trained with Arsenal's first team before opting to leave the Emirates after failing to earn a professional contract with the club.
Millwall manager Neil Harris claimed the 17-year-old "did really well" during his trial at The Den earlier this month, and Donovan stands a much better chance of advancing as a first-team candidate in east London.
