Lewis Comments on Injury
Monday, Nov. 16
Lewis discussed his injury, via Katherine Terrell of NOLA.com:
"I'm going through it. But I'm a strong individual, I'll find a way. It's tough, man. You think you're back on track and then you get offset again with something like this. ...
(The) stuff I've dealt with this whole season, guess it's just one of those years when you're trying to fight for your team and your body just doesn't allow you to. It's tough, I'm trying to get out of this slump I'm in, body-wise...

Lewis' Latest Injury Further Depletes Struggling Saints' Secondary
Hip surgery delayed Lewis' 2015 regular-season debut, and he didn't make his first start until Week 4 against the Dallas Cowboys. The same hip then prevented him from appearing in New Orleans' Week 7 win over the Indianapolis Colts.
The secondary has been a major question mark for New Orleans all year. Although Delvin Breaux has assumed Lewis' role as one of the Saints' starting cornerbacks, New Orleans can ill afford to lose any more defensive backs at this stage of the season.
