Harrison Struggling to Stay Healthy in Recent Years
Missing time is nothing new for Harrison, who has not played a full season since 2010. But the 37-year-old has been playing in more of a reserve role for much of the past two seasons. In 2015, he's started just one of the Steelers' first nine games this season. But according to Jacob Klinger of PennLive.com, he's played more defensive snaps than any other Steelers outside linebacker.
But Harrison has only 25 total tackles, ranked fourth among Pittsburgh linebackers this season. He does have two sacks, though.
If the Harrison is forced to the sidelines again, the Steelers have Jarvis Jones to step in for Harrison. Jones has recorded 22 combined tackles and two sacks in nine starts, so there are options with plenty of playing time this season who can step in for the veteran while he recovers.
