Paul Merson Predicts Chelsea and Spurs to Finish in Premier League Top 4

Here's some good news for Chelsea fans: Paul Merson still believes.

The Sky Sports pundit has made his predictions for the Premier League's top four at the end of the season, and he's confident Jose Mourinho's Blues can recover from their miserable start to the season to claim a UEFA Champions League place.

Chelsea currently sit 16th, some 13 points from fourth-placed Manchester United after 12 games.

The former Arsenal man tips Manchester City's squad depth to give them a slight edge over Arsenal in the first two places, while Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea round out his top four.

That means there's no room for Louis van Gaal's United or Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool.

Merson, 47, believes that Chelsea "go out to win football matches" while the Red Devils aim "not to lose."
