Real Madrid Transfer News: Robert Lewandowski, Eden Hazard, David De Gea Rumours
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly plotting a significant overhaul of the squad next summer, which could see Los Blancos make blockbuster moves for Bayern Munich forward Robert Lewandowski, Chelsea winger Eden Hazard and Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea.
That’s according to website Sportyou (h/t James Gray of the Daily Express), who claims current players Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo could be shipped out, as Perez seeks to refresh the playing staff. It’s noted this overhaul will take place regardless of how successful Real are this season under Rafa Benitez.

The La Liga giants lost their first game of the season last weekend against Sevilla and some have been critical of the pragmatic principles employed by Benitez. The pursuit of players such as Lewandowski and Hazard would be intriguing, and they could well be direct positional replacements for Benzema and Ronaldo, respectively, if they were to be moved on.
The former is enjoying a tremendous campaign with Bayern, showcasing remarkable instincts in front of goal. Lewandowski has blossomed into one of the finest centre-forwards in world football under Pep Guardiola and would be a formidable option for Los Blancos at the point of the attack.

As we can see here courtesy of WhoScored.com, the Pole would be a reliable candidate to replace the goals scored by Benzema and Ronaldo:
At this juncture, Hazard seems a more attainable target. According to Neil Ashton of the Daily Mail, the Belgian’s relationship with Blues boss Mourinho has deteriorated massively as of late, and provided the Chelsea manager remains in charge, the former Lille man will do his utmost to push through a transfer to Los Blancos in the summer.

If Ronaldo was to move on, Hazard is one of a few players in world football with the natural talent to replace him. At the moment, the Belgian is a player who looks as though he may well be in need of a fresh start, too, per Squawka Football:
After tailing De Gea all summer before a transfer fell through in the final stages of the window, it’d certainly be no surprise to see Los Blancos make a move for the Spaniard again at the end of the 2015-16 season.

According to Gray, there is still “great frustration” at the fact they were unable to bring in De Gea before the deadline, despite the stellar recent form of Keylor Navas between the sticks.
The United man hasn’t let a summer of discontent get to him either, as he’s been in remarkable form at the base of a mean Red Devils defence, per FourFourTweet:
Lewandowski is likely to be the most difficult of the three to lure away from his current home. Bayern are more than a match for Real when it comes to financial muscle, and given the manner in which Guardiola’s side are regularly challenging for the top honours on the domestic and European stage, there’ll be no pressing desire from the Pole to move on.
Hazard’s future is likely to be a major topic for discussion as the season continues to rumble on. If Chelsea do fail to qualify for the Champions League, which is looking more and more likely, Madrid may feel as though next summer is the ideal time to lure him away from Stamford Bridge and push hard. The Blues would be especially reluctant to let him leave, though.
As would United when it comes to De Gea, especially given the new deal he just signed. It means that although Real have been privy to summers of seismic change in the past, it’d be a major surprise if we were to witness such a substantial shift in playing personnel at the end of this term.
