Featured Over-Under Prediction

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks

Just like last season, the Arizona Cardinals have taken the first half of the schedule to assume their place as the NFC West's supreme squad.

But also like last season, the Seattle Seahawks are staying just close enough to their divisional foes to make a late-season surge. 

At 4-4 and on a two-game winning streak, the Seahawks are quietly clawing their way back into the playoff hunt. They're doing so with their typical defensive dominance—their 140 points given up are the second-fewest conceded in the league.

Of course, Arizona's offense has been high-octane throughout 2015. But in two meetings with the Seahawks last season, the Cardinals were completely shut down—scoring six points in one game and three in the other.

That's the type of scoring that almost guarantees a failure to hit the over on this over-under, with the total exceeding 40 points for some odd reason. Perhaps oddsmakers are taking into account the Cardinals' high-scoring offense.

But while they do that, you should take into account the fact that this Cardinals offense was completely stunted by Seattle a year ago. Just like in those matchups, the Seahawks are virtually playing for their playoff lives, knowing a late-season losing streak would all but end their hopes of making it to a third straight Super Bowl.

In four wins this season, Seattle's defense has given up a total of 25 points. Expect a low-scoring affair in which the teams struggle to get close to the over.
