WWE NXT: Full Preview, Match Card and More for November 11

The Doctor Chris MuellerNov 11, 2015

Welcome to Bleacher Report's preview for this week's episode of WWE NXT, where we take a spoiler-free look at what's in store for the developmental brand's upcoming episode.

Last week's show saw Samoa Joe unexpectedly turn heel and attack NXT champion Finn Balor. Anyone who has seen Joe in TNA knows he can be a great bad guy, and putting him with the biggest babyface in NXT is a great way to get him over as a villain.

We will likely see the fallout from Joe's actions, but one thing we'll definitely see is an NXT Tag Team Championship match.

Let's take a look at this week's episode of NXT.

The Men

In a bit of a change from the normal format, this week will only feature one singles bout from the men's division.

Baron Corbin will be taking on "Perfect 10" Tye Dillinger in what should be an open-and-shut match. Not to take anything away from Dillinger, but these two are on different levels at the moment.

Corbin is being built up as a monster heel in NXT. He has a few impressive wins on his resume, and it seems like it's just a matter of time before he's chasing the NXT Championship.

However, a Dillinger win would signal a push for the overqualified jobber. If you have been paying attention to Dillinger, you know he is better than the position in which he finds himself.

A victory over someone with as much momentum as Corbin could propel Dillinger to the middle of the pack from his current spot at the back of the line.

The Women

Now that Becky Lynch, Charlotte and Sasha Banks are permanently on the main roster, management has to start pushing the next crop of NXT Divas.

Two newcomers will be in action Wednesday when Peyton Royce takes on Adrienne Reese. Some indy fans may know Reese as Athena, but she will be going by her real name in NXT.

This is a big opportunity for these women, as each is looking to pick up her first televised singles win.

It's not as if winning this match will get either one of them a title shot, but the victor could be set for a push. With neither woman having a big following yet, it's anyone's guess as to who will win.

The second women's match of the night will see Nia Jax take on someone named Dianna. This is likely just a local talent whom The Rock's cousin can squash.

Jax has a chance to be the next great heel in the women's division, but first she needs to prove that she is more than just a gimmick. Her size will definitely get her far, but it will take more than power for her to match up to some of the women who made NXT so great.

But wait—there's more NXT Divas action on the card.

The Tag Teams

A third match featuring the women of NXT will be a mixed six-person tag bout. Bayley will team with Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder to battle Alexa Bliss, Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy.

Team BAMF has been building itself up into a cohesive unit. Losing the tag titles doesn't feel like the end for this group, but only the beginning.

As far as the babyface team is concerned, it seems like a match made in heaven. Rawley and Ryder have a certain kind of infectious energy that is only matched by Bayley's among the NXT Divas.

If Bayley can help The Hype Bros defeat the former tag champs, it might put them in line for a shot at the winners of the next match.

The main event of the evening will feature The Vaudevillains defending the NXT Tag Team Championships against Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson.

Simon Gotch and Aiden English haven't been champions for very long, but it's possible losing the titles here could be a blessing in disguise.

It seems like whenever someone loses a title in NXT, it's not long before we see them on the main roster. It happened with Neville, The Ascension, Lucha Dragons, Bo Dallas and many more.

It might be too soon to put the titles on Dawson and Wilder, but if WWE sees something in them, they might find themselves with a big push and a title reign.

Both of these teams have proved they're great in the ring many times, so regardless of who wins, we should be in for a fun championship match.

This week's show looks somewhat average on paper, but a few matches on the card might be sleepers. What are you looking forward to on Wednesday's episode of NXT?
