Ware Optimistic After MRI
Friday, Jan. 8
"Ware didn’t delve into details about his knee on Friday but said that the test didn’t turn up anything that would prevent him from playing next weekend," per Josh Alper of Pro Football Talk.
Ware a Crucial Element of Broncos Defense
Ware is a tremendous complement to Von Miller. The two combine to form one of the most lethal edge-rushing duos in the NFL, and their play has helped the Broncos forge an elite defense in 2015, which has carried an offense led by aging quarterback Peyton Manning and Brock Osweiler.
Unfortunately, a nagging back injury has plagued Ware throughout an otherwise productive year in which he's racked up 7.5 sacks in 11 games.
