Martin Odegaard Says Cristiano Ronaldo Is 'The Best' and Is Helping Him Develop

If you're going to work every now and then with Cristiano Ronaldo, you'd be foolish not to ask for a few pointers.

Norwegian starlet Martin Odegaard has a bright future ahead of him, the 16-year-old making his debut for Real Madrid when he replaced the Portuguese superstar at the end of last season.

He says the 2014 Ballon d'Or winner is playing an important role in his quest to fulfill his enormous potential.

"He's given me several tips. We train together once in a while, so i try to learn as much as I can from him. There's a lot you can learn from such a good player", he told Marca.

Ronaldo recently identified the Castilla youngster as one of the most promising youngsters in the world as he promoted his new film, Ronaldo (h/t the Mirror).

It's high praise from a man who has earned his fair share of compliments from the footballing world over the years.
