NFL Picks Week 10: Updated Lines and Final-Score Predictions for All Games

Steven CookNov 11, 2015

As the season moves into the second-half stretch, the cream has risen to the top with a number of teams proving elite heading into Week 10.

There's no better indication of that than the three 8-0 teams, which is a NFL record. The odds reflect a clear-cut hierarchy in the league, with a whopping six of the 14 games this weekend featuring touchdown-or-higher spreads.

That being said, the NFL is a league of parity and unpredictability, with upsets cropping up every week. Week 10 will be no different, as you can see below with a breakdown of predictions for every game and odds courtesy of Odds Shark.

Matchup to Watch

New England Patriots at New York Giants

The New York Giants and New England Patriots are years removed from their fateful pair of Super Bowl meetings over the last decade. But those should still be fresh on the minds of both teams heading into a Week 10 clash on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.

Both the Patriots and Giants are under the same leadership they were during those games, with Bill Belichick and Tom Coughlin as two of the most tenured head coaches in the NFL to date. But it's no secret which squad has the lion's share of attention so far in 2015.

That goes to the Patriots, who have started out to an 8-0 record in surprisingly easy fashion. Four of their wins have come by virtual blowouts, and seven points mark their tightest win of the season.

That being said, New England will aim to replace a playmaker who has emerged from the shadows to be a regular part of the offense. Running back Dion Lewis suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Week 9, as SportsCenter noted:

Of course, the Patriots have seemingly overcome similar adversity over the years without skipping a beat. No matter whom quarterback Tom Brady has to work with on offense, he seems to come through.

But that level of constant success hasn't proved itself against these Giants, who are the only team to avoid losing to New England in the last seven years, as Adam Schefter of ESPN noted:

Sure, the Giants have had a level of success against New England that no other team has been able to muster over the last near-decade. But Brady and Co. should still feast on a susceptible secondary come Sunday.

New York allowed a whopping seven touchdown passes by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees in Week 8. The Giants are better than that stat indicates, but the Patriots are also better than the Saints through the air.

Expect Brady to air it out once again en route to a double-digit victory that covers the spread.

Prediction: Patriots 34, Giants 23
