Monday Night Football Week 9: TV Schedule, Live Stream for Bears vs. Chargers
On Monday night, the 2-5 Chicago Bears travel to San Diego to take on the 2-6 Chargers.
Both teams are rounding up the rear in their respective divisions and seek to gain a little momentum with a potential third win on the season.
The Chargers are favorites by 3.5 points, per Odds Shark, but given the injuries to both teams, this is a difficult matchup to predict.

What to Watch
As mentioned above, the big story in this matchup is who is not taking the field for both teams and how that will affect the outcome.
For Chicago, running back Matt Forte has already been ruled out due to the knee injury he suffered last week, and quarterback Jay Cutler will be without pass-catcher Eddie Royal, who is also out with a knee injury.
Center Hroniss Grasu is doubtful with a neck injury, which means Cutler is likely to be under duress from San Diego throughout the game.
On the defensive side of the ball, linebacker Shea McClellin is questionable with a knee injury.
San Diego could miss some important playmakers on Monday night as well, but most of them are concentrated on defense.
Linebacker Denzel Perryman is out with a biceps injury after missing practice Thursday and Friday, and this will be the second consecutive missed game for the rookie.
On offense, tight end Ladarius Green is doubtful as he continues to work through an ankle injury. Normally, that wouldn't be an issue, as the Chargers also have veteran Antonio Gates, but he too is working through an injury to his left MCL.
Perhaps if Green were available, San Diego would rest Gates, but his status is at least probable.
The biggest loss for the Chargers, of course, is wide receiver Keenan Allen, Philip Rivers' favorite target, who is lost for the season after rupturing his spleen in Week 8.
If Forte were playing, he could have a big day against San Diego's run defense, which looks to be missing defensive tackle Corey Liuget, who is dealing with a foot injury suffered in Week 8 against the Baltimore Ravens.
San Diego is already No. 26 in the league in rushing defense, so losing one of its best players certainly doesn't help its cause. The Chargers will also be without linebacker Manti Te'o and likely cornerback Patrick Robinson too.
However, without Forte, can Chicago even challenge San Diego on the ground?
That's up to rookie Jeremy Langford, who plans to make his first career start, per Jeff Dickerson of ESPN.
The Bears have one of the league's best pass defenses, allowing an average of 214.3 yards per game, and the Chargers look to be without two of their biggest weapons in Allen and Green (or potentially Gates).
Though San Diego had the No. 1 passing offense heading into Week 9, that's almost certainly not going to be the case now.
Though the Chargers should still be able to do more on offense than Chicago, especially on the ground, the Bears have a real chance here to overwhelm a San Diego defense missing some key parts. Expect this to be a close and potentially high-scoring matchup.
