Indianapolis Colts safety Mike Adams hasn't played since he suffered an ankle injury against the Denver Broncos in Week 9. However, he is ready to return.

Adams' Absence Was a Big Blow to Colts Defense

Vontae Davis may be the only member of the Colts secondary more valuable to the team than Adams. The 2014 Pro Bowler leads Indianapolis with four interceptions.

Although the bar to win the AFC South is extremely low for the Colts, any hopes of making a run in the playoffs will be linked heavily to Adams staying healthy going forward.
