Marpet has been one of the bright spots for the Buccaneers in 2015. He had a great game against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 8, and John Breitenbach of Pro Football Focus gave him some high praise:
"Rookie Ali Marpet (+6.5) from Hobart led the way, having one of the more impressive games as a run blocker that we’ve seen. Marpet’s +6.2 grade in the ground game was easily the best on the team, but the contributions of Logan Mankins (+3.0) and Joe Hawley (+1.5) were significant, also.
