The Patriots offense has been rolling in 2015 despite multiple injuries in the trenches. Ben Volin of the Boston Globe summarized the unit's precarious situation entering Week 9:
Left tackle Nate Solder already went down for the year with a torn biceps, and Marcus Cannon has also been out of the lineup to exacerbate the issue of depth.
Vollmer was playing right tackle but switched to quarterback Tom Brady's blind side when Solder got hurt. Per MassLive.com's Kevin Duffy, Cameron Fleming filled in at left tackle while Vollmer was out.
