Jose Mourinho Receives Support from Asmir Begovic After Chelsea's Loss to Stoke
Chelsea lost their third straight Premier League match 1-0 to Stoke City on Saturday and fell to 16th in the table, prompting speculation about manager Jose Mourinho’s job security.
Mourinho served a one-game ban on Saturday for misconduct towards a referee in an October loss to West Ham, according to Rob Harris of the Associated Press, which was his second sanction by the English Football Association.
Yet despite his continued outbursts and Chelsea’s fall after their Premier League championship a year ago, goalkeeper Asmir Begovic insists the manager has the team’s full support, per BBC Sport.

"We are behind the manager," he said. "You can see that from our performances. We think he is the right man and someone we work hard for. His spirit and his presence is always there. We wanted to get a result for him."
Saturday’s defeat was Chelsea’s seventh in their last 12 matches—the first time during Mourinho’s tenure that they have lost this many in an entire season, according to Miguel Delaney of ESPN.com.
Reports that surfaced Saturday also suggested that Mourinho has aspirations to replace Louis van Gaal at Manchester United next summer, according to French news outlet Le10 Sport (h/t Sport Witness' Tom Coast and Metro's Will Giles).
With Chelsea’s continued struggles and Mourinho’s continued polarizing actions, it seems as though a shake-up could be on the horizon.
