US Men's National Team 2018 World Cup Qualifier Roster Announced

The United States men's national team have revealed their squad for the opening match of their 2018 World Cup qualification campaign against Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday, November 13.  

The official U.S. Soccer Twitter account unveiled the 22-man roster on Friday, with Seattle Sounders forward Clint Dempsey among the notable absentees due his commitments in the Major League Soccer play-offs:

Jurgen Klinsmann's side are hoping to advance from CONCACAF Group C, where they'll also face Guatemala and Trinidad and Tobago in the hopes of making it to the fifth round of qualification.

The Stars and Stripes enter next Saturday's fixture having lost their last three successive games against Brazil, Mexico and Costa Rica, placing a heavy burden on their shoulders to start turning around form.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines travel to Busch Stadium in St. Louis on November 13, with the World Cup qualifier scheduled to kick off at 7:10 p.m. ET (12:10 a.m. GMT, Sunday, Nov. 14).
