In a modern-day reenactment of the 1984 UEFA Cup Final, Tottenham hosted Anderlecht on Thursday night, hoping for a similar result to that achieved 31 years ago, aiding their progress out of Europa League Group J.

Harry Kane put Spurs on the road to three points in the 29th minute with an unstoppable right-footed drive from the edge of the area:

Thing looked bleak for the Lillywhites as the visitors continued to press, but Moussa Dembele broke the hearts of his countrymen by bagging the winner with a powerful long-range strike:
