Lauvergne Will Play vs. Dallas Mavericks
Saturday, Nov. 28
Nuggets broadcaster Jason Kosmicki reported Lauvergne will play Saturday.
How Lauvergne Impacts Nuggets Frontcourt
In just his second season in the league, Lauvergne has started three games for the Nuggets, averaging 10.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game.
The Frenchman was feeling comfortable in Denver leading into the season, as he has had an opportunity to show off his scoring ability and solid play down low. Lauvergne spoke with Kevin Henry of Examiner.com heading into the season:
"I feel very comfortable. I want to keep doing what has been working. I have improved but there’s also the fact that the coaches now know me. They saw me in practice before summer league, during summer league, in Eurobasket, and since then. They know me and know what I can do. I want to keep understanding what the coach wants and what the team needs from me.
"
Getting Lauvergne's size back up front, along with a healthy Kenneth Faried, will make Denver's frontcourt much more formidable moving forward.
