Drew Brees Says Son Was Rooting for Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. vs. Saints

It would probably surprise many that the Brees household was a bit torn during the Week 8 shootout between the New York Giants and the New Orleans Saints. After all, Drew Brees is the quarterback of the Saints.

Nonetheless, there was a Giants supporter among Brees' family.

Brees went on The Dan Patrick Show on Monday and revealed that his oldest son, Baylen, was rooting for the Giants' Eli Manning and Odell Beckham Jr. Why? Baylen goes to the same school that both Manning and Beckham went to as kids.

Sorry, Dad. You should've gone to Isidore Newman School.

It turned out to be quite a show for Baylen. His dad tied an NFL single-game record with seven touchdown passes in a 52-49 victory. Not only that, but the Manning-Beckham connection was unstoppable, as Beckham went off for 130 yards and three touchdowns on eight catches.

Now, young Baylen wants a Beckham jersey. That will be an interesting decision for the Brees family to make.

Obviously, Baylen would never actually root against his father. After all, they've been through a lot together:
