NFL Week 9 Opening Odds: Unbeaten Patriots Among Week Betting Favorites
Two of the three unbeaten NFL teams left in the AFC will face tough road tests in Week 9, while the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots (7-0) are the biggest favorites on the betting board.
The Patriots, consensus 14-point home favorites according to Odds Shark, are hosting the Washington Redskins (3-4), and they have gone 3-8 against the spread in their last 11 games when favored by 14 points or more. New England is coming off an easy 36-7 home win against the Miami Dolphins last Thursday as eight-point chalk.
The Denver Broncos (7-0) had their most impressive victory of the season in the Week 8 Sunday night matchup, crushing the previously undefeated Green Bay Packers (6-1) by a 29-10 margin as three-point home underdogs.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The Broncos opened as three-point road favorites versus the Indianapolis Colts and will be trying to break an eight-game skid ATS against Peyton Manning’s former team.
Of course, Manning was a Colt for five of those games, but he has dropped two of three meetings with them since signing with Denver before the 2012 season, according to the Odds Shark NFL Database. Indy upset the Broncos on the road in the divisional playoffs 24-13 last year as a 9.5-point road underdog.
The Cincinnati Bengals (7-0) rallied for a 16-10 road win against the Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) last week and will take on another AFC North opponent in this week’s Thursday night game. The Bengals will host the Cleveland Browns (2-6) as 10-point favorites and should be leery of their intrastate rivals following a 24-3 home loss last year on a Thursday night.
Cincinnati was a six-point favorite in that game, which took place in Week 10 when the team was 5-2-1. Cleveland dropped the second meeting at home to the Bengals 30-0 December 14 as two-point chalk, its sixth loss in the last nine meetings.
The Packers will be looking to rebound from their first setback with another difficult road game as they visit the Carolina Panthers.
Green Bay is 6-2 straight up in the last eight meetings with the Panthers and has won five in a row following a loss. Carolina will be playing on a short week after hosting the Colts on Monday night. The Packers opened as three-point road favorites.
