Bilal Basacikoglu Gets Edouard Duplan Dismissed with Childish Playacting

Congratulations, Bilal Basacikoglu.

The Feyenoord winger got an opponent sent off with an embarrassing piece of playacting on Sunday, with ADO Den Haag’s Edouard Duplan the man to receive his marching orders.

In an effort to win a free-kick near his own corner flag, Basacikoglu dramatically threw himself on the floor. Not great, but nothing to get carried away about.

However, Duplan—at worst—then grazed the winger's leg whilst he was on the floor, which led to six dramatic rolls on the floor, as well as a cheeky look to the bench to tell the physio not to come on.

Even with the man advantage, Feyenoord couldn't find a late equaliser. Such a shame for Basacikoglu and his team-mates.
