Davis Adds to Injury Issues in 49ers Backfield
Before his exit, Davis received a season-high 10 carries, rushing for four yards. He was forced to assume a larger role in the offense after Reggie Bush slipped on the concrete next to the playing surface at the Edward Jones Dome and left the game, per ESPN's John Clayton.
With a foot injury keeping Carlos Hyde out for the game, the Niners now need to rely on their third-string running back, Kendall Gaskins, to serve as the bellwether for the ground game.
Due to all of the injuries, the 49ers signed free agent Shaun Draghn.
