Royal Valuable in the Slot for Cutler
Royal, 29, has caught 26 passes for 171 yards and a touchdown this season, including three catches for just two yards in Sunday's contest. He was called upon to be a big part of the Chicago offense this season when Alshon Jeffery was forced to miss significant time because of an injury.
With Jeffery back in action, however, Royal's role has diminished somewhat. Still, he's a valuable asset out of the slot, and his history with Jay Cutler—the two played together in Denver—make him a nice option for the quarterback.
