King Dunlap Injury: Updates on Chargers OT's Ankle and Return

San Diego Chargers offensive tackle King Dunlap left against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 8 after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter. Dunlap needed a cart to get back to the locker room, but he later returned to the sidelines

Thankfully for Chargers fans, he is ready to return.

Dunlap Active for Week 11

The Chargers announced that Dunlap was available to play against the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday's game.

Dunlap's X-Ray Comes Back Negative

Monday, Nov. 2

Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune reported that while the X-ray did not reveal a fracture, Dunlap will undergo an MRI on Monday.


Dunlap Was Latest Injury for Banged-Up Chargers

Dunlap, 30, already missed time this season with a concussion. His ankle injury is just the latest in a rash of problems along the Chargers offensive line. Left guard Orlando Franklin and right guard D.J. Fluker have also been nicked up recently.

The Chargers are on a five-game losing streak and have lost seven of their last eight games.
