Costa Returns vs. Arsenal

Sunday, Jan. 24

Chelsea confirmed Costa's presence in the starting XI for Sunday's trip to the Emirates Stadium.

Hiddink Comments on Costa's Training Status

Friday, Jan. 22

Blues boss Guus Hiddink revealed Costa hadn't trained much ahead of the Arsenal game.

In-form Costa Vital for Chelsea

The Spain international has experienced a revival in form since Hiddink succeeded Jose Mourinho. He'd found the net against Everton before the injury, a goal that continued his resurgence, as Squawka detailed:

Granted, Costa has struggled to hit the same heights of his maiden campaign at Stamford Bridge, where he finished with 21 goals in 37 appearances for the Blues en route to claiming the Premier League title.

Nevertheless, Chelsea will be glad to see their hitman back in action. Nobody else in their squad offers the same level of aggression in attacking areas.
