Breeders' Cup 2015: Post Positions Info and Vegas Odds for All Horses
It may be the final day of competition at the 2015 Breeders' Cup, but there is still plenty of action left with nine races Saturday between some of the sport's biggest names.
The remaining races have a combined $14.5 million in purse money. The Classic, with the event's largest purse at $5 million, will not only be the final race of the weekend, but also the final race of 2015 Triple Crown winner American Pharoah's career.
Another successful horse, Bobby's Kitten, looks to repeat as champion in the Turf Sprint. On a down note for the event, Beholder, who earlier was at 4-1 to win the race, was scratched from the Classic Thursday due to a lung irritation, per Tim Layden of Sports Illustrated.
The mare would have given the other horses—including American Pharoah—a run for their money. Let's take a look at the odds for the final day's races, as well as an in-depth look at some of the more important post positions, and how they could affect the outcome of some of the races.

Upsetting American Pharoah Is No Easy Task
At 13-2 odds to win the Classic, Tonalist is positioned nicely in the first post. Is that enough to warrant the thought of an upset victory over the sport's latest Triple Crown winner?
American Pharoah is retiring after the race, and a strong performance in his final race is likely. Tonalist is a decent-enough challenger with six wins in 14 career races, but that's nothing compared to racing's top horse. American Pharoah has won eight of 10 career starts, including six of seven in 2015, with one second-place finish.
Beholder bowing out is a disappointing for fans, but if you want to look for another potential upset, keep an eye on the horse in the No. 2 post: Keen Ice. At 12-1 to win, per Odds Shark, the colt doesn't seem like a challenger, but he is the only one to knock off American Pharoah this year.
Below is his dramatic come-from-behind victory at the 2015 Travers Stakes.
It was an amazing finish for Keen Ice, but don't look for that to happen here. It feels like destiny for Pharoah to head out on top, and two losses to the same horse this season seem unlikely. What a way it will be for the Triple Crown winner to end his career.
The Opening Act
The Classic may be the premier race, but another exciting one is the Turf Sprint. As mentioned, Bobby's Kitten is the defending champ, but he's not the favorite—that title belongs to 4-1 Lady Shipman.
However, the horse to keep an eye on could be one owned by a former National Football League player, according to Fred Hoffman of the Times: "Wes Welker, a former pro football player, has a gelding in here named Undrafted, and that is my choice to win this race. Undrafted just finished second in his latest outing, but the race before that he dispatched 14 foes in winning the Diamond Jubilee at Royal Ascot in England."
Undrafted has good odds at 5-1, but look for Bobby's Kitten to put on a strong performance and successfully defend his Turf Sprint title.
There are some interesting storylines here, as the 31-year-old Breeders' Cup tries to prove there is more to horse racing than the Triple Crown. A dominating performance from American Pharoah will help with that.
