After the New York Knicks passed on numerous top American prospects to draft big man Kristaps Porzingis with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, the 7'3" Latvian became an instant cult hero.

As such, after scoring 16 points in his Wednesday night debut, all eyes were on Porzingis on Thursday as his Knicks took on the Atlanta Hawks. All it took was one play to show what this kid is capable of.

After lunging to steal a pass intended for Paul Millsap, the lanky phenom took it the other way, spun and went behind his back to leave Millsap in the dust before throwing down the hammer.
