Shorts Unable to Shake Injury Bug in 2015
After spending four seasons in Jacksonville, Shorts signed with Houston last offseason and quickly became a staple in the Texans' passing game.
Injuries have taken Shorts off the field already this season, as he missed three games because of hamstring and shoulder woes. This marks the fifth straight season in which the former Mount Union star has missed at least three games.
Houston's quarterback situation has been a mess for various reasons and has made it difficult for any receiver not named DeAndre Hopkins to play up to his full potential.
Shorts, Hopkins and Nate Washington are so talented that the Texans have been able to put up a solid season. Getting Shorts back in the mix for the playoffs gives their offense a much-needed lift against a talented Chiefs defense.
