Chelsea Transfer News: Eden Hazard Orders Real Madrid Move, Latest Blues Rumours

Eden Hazard is reportedly looking to force his way out of Chelsea and has instructed his agent to find him a new club, with Real Madrid his desired destination.

The Belgian superstar has been one of many Chelsea players who has dropped off hugely in quality this season, and his penalty miss on Tuesday against Stoke City saw the Blues crash out of the Capital One Cup in a shootout.

According to Spanish outlet Fichajes.net (h/t Metro's Mark Brus), Hazard has had enough of life at Stamford Bridge, and he is now looking to move away from west London for next season.

The report suggests that Hazard is keen for a switch to the Santiago Bernabeu, and Real President Florentino Perez is said to be an admirer of the 24-year-old.

Hazard was deservedly awarded the Player of the Season Award in 2014-15 as Chelsea won the Premier League at a canter.

The new term has seen the Blues lose five of their 10 games in the English top flight, and Jose Mourinho is currently under huge pressure in his job as manager, per AS:

The Portuguese has not been helped by a distinct drop in form from many of his star players, not least Hazard who is yet to score a goal in the Premier League this season, per WhoScored.com.

It now seems Hazard is unsettled at Chelsea, quite a surprise considering his form last season and his recent signing of a new contract to keep him at Stamford Bridge until 2020.

It is highly unlikely the Blues would let Hazard go. Indeed, only if a side like Real came in with an astronomical offer would such a scenario even be considered.

For such a high-quality player, it seems unlikely that Hazard will not rediscover his form soon, and that should, in turn, see Chelsea shoot up the Premier League table.

While a second consecutive league title is all but out of the question, Chelsea could still very easily finish in the top four.

That should be enough to convince Hazard to stay on, at least for now, and should he and Chelsea find form again, rumours of his potential departure should dissipate.

Hazard is not the only Chelsea star who has been linked with a move away. Barcelona have recently been linked with striker Diego Costa, per Spanish outlet Don Balon (h/t Mark Brus of Metro).

But it does not seem likely that the Premier League champions are about to start selling their best players. They have enough quality in their ranks, as well as the financial power, to return to their top form soon.
