Holiday Active vs. Knicks
Monday, March 28
Holiday is available to play on Monday against New York, confirmed Jennifer Hale of Fox Sports, who added he is "finally able to cut on his foot."
Holiday Unable to Shake Injury Bug
Holiday has established himself as an effective, well-rounded floor general for the Pelicans since arriving from the Philadelphia 76ers in a trade ahead of the 2013-14 campaign. Unfortunately, his impact has been limited at times due to injuries.
The 25-year-old UCLA product has battled consistent leg problems that played a major role in him missing 90 games over the last two years. In turn, the team implemented a plan of sitting him out in back-to-back games and limiting his minutes earlier this season to help keep him healthy.
Holiday is the team's best option to lead the offense when healthy and clicking on all cylinders. The injuries continue to cause concern both for the short and long term, though.
