Bayern Munich Manager Pep Guardiola Plays a 2-3-5 Formation vs. Wolfsburg

As long as Pep Guardiola's brilliant and innovative tactics continue to succeed in Germany, he will continue to be linked with big jobs in England.

The Bayern Munich boss had his side line up in an unusual 2-3-5 formation in Tuesday night's cup win over Wolfsburg, and the new tactics paid dividends.

In what Mark Lovell of ESPN FC called Bayern's "best performance of the season," the Bundesliga leaders won 3-1 thanks to goals from Douglas Costa and Thomas Muller (2).

The new formation certainly caught the eye.
