Ox Provides Injury Recovery Update
Friday, Nov. 13
"The rehab is going well, 80-90 [per cent] sprints today. ... Looking forward to being back on the pitch soon," the England international posted on Instagram.
Ox Return Will Boost Injury-Stricken Gunners
Wenger is without midfielders Jack Wilshere, Francis Coquelin and Theo Walcott because of injury, so Oxlade-Chamberlain's comeback will improve his options.
Without Walcott and Oxlade-Chamberlain, Arsenal have lacked a pacy option for both their right wing and in the striker positions. Joel Campbell has seen increased game time in Oxlade-Chamberlain's absence, but he doesn't offer the same dynamism as his team-mates.
Wenger will welcome Oxlade-Chamberlain back with open arms, and he'll be hoping he can finally put together a solid run of fitness.
