The Chargers announced Franklin was a full participant at practice Thursday after being a limited participant Wednesday.
What Franklin's Return Means for Chargers
With Franklin having not played since Week 7, the Chargers have been forced to use swingman Kenny Wiggins at left guard.
Franklin should slip back into his starting role, which will give the Bolts some much-needed depth.
San Diego has struggled running the football this season, as rookie running back Melvin Gordon's debut season has been a disappointment.
Franklin's absence hasn't helped in that regard, but there may be hope that Gordon, Danny Woodhead and the Chargers running backs can finally take some pressure off quarterback Philip Rivers with Franklin back in the fold.
