Fresh Backstage WWE Rumors 👊

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
This is a great roster that has a good balance between current, future and past Superstars and Divas. There aren't an abundance of Superstars with multiple personae being passed off as more than one Superstar.
Despite having more than 120 Superstars and Divas available in the retail version, there's even more on the way.
DLC and Created Superstars
Even more Superstars and Divas will be added to the game via downloadable content. Take a look at the video detailing the contents of the extensive DLC package:
Below are some of the best additions to the roster from the DLC package.
Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes
The late Roddy Piper and Dusty Rhodes are the crown jewels of the DLC legends. Both men have appeared in past WWE games, but with their untimely passings, it's especially cool to have their playable characters in the game.
It would be cool if there was some sort of in-game tribute, but chances are the news of their deaths likely came about too close to the final production of the game.
In any case, the American Dream and the Rowdy One will be among the first Superstars I choose to control.
Samoa Joe
If you were to make a list of guys who should have been in the WWE a long time ago, Samoa Joe is likely near the top of that list. He's been putting in work in NXT and should be a part of regular WWE programming sometime in the near future.
However, for now, gamers can take control of the ring technician in WWE 2K16. I haven't had a glimpse at Joe's move set in the game, but it would be shocking if it wasn't one of the best available—that's if you like suplexes and throws.
Harlem Heat
Tag teams need to get more love in the WWE. There's a nice buzz around The New Day and the return of The Dudley Boyz, but WWE 2K16 brings back one of the greatest tag teams in the history of the business.
The Harlem Heat were a longtime fixture in WCW. Real-life brothers Booker T and Stevie Ray are among the most decorated champions there have ever been in wrestling. Only Booker T made the jump to the WWE as a singles wrestler. He is now a member of the Hall of Fame, but it's nice to be able to re-enact some of his tag team glory.
100 More Slots
In WWE 2K15, there were only 25 created Superstar slots. In WWE 2K16, there are a whopping 100. Whether you're using the extensive creation tool to create 100 new Superstars or downloading the awesome creations from the game's community, you'll be able to add some great Superstars and Divas to your roster.
Kurt Angle, Goldberg, Kharma and others aren't a part of the official roster, but you can bet there will be spot-on recreations of these legends through the Community Creations options.
With this tool, you can push your roster well over 200 Superstars and Divas. Now that's what's best for business.
