Todd Gurley, Tavon Austin, Benny Cunningham's Post-Week 7 Fantasy Advice
Who does Todd Gurley think he is? Eric Dickerson?
For the third straight week, the rookie running back exceeded 100 rushing yards and scored 15 or more fantasy points. That made him the first St. Louis Rams running back with three straight games of 100 rushing yards since Steven Jackson did so in 2011, per ESPN Stats & Information.
Not too shabby, right?

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈

| Benny Cunningham | 4 | 11 | 2 | 13 | 2 | 2 |
He's become the focal point of the Rams offense, is a no-brainer RB1 every week and, well, is just plain old fun to watch. And touchdown runs like the following, shared by the NFL on Twitter, are a reminder of just how much talent Gurley has:
That makes any other running back in the St. Louis backfield, including Benny Cunningham, pretty irrelevant outside of a handcuff role. And in the case of Cunningham, once Tre Mason is healthy, he'll pretty much lose the very little value he held as Gurley's backup.
Tavon Austin, meanwhile, remains one of fantasy's enigmas. There's no question that the Rams have put an added emphasis on getting Austin the ball with more regularity this year. The problem is that he is something of a hybrid receiver and running back in the team's offense, and to this point, a lot of his fantasy value has come from touchdowns.

You just can't trust him with a start. For every week he scores double-digit points, there will probably be three or four weeks where he scores five or fewer. Unless you are in a really deep league or he starts to show more consistent production, he should remain firmly planted on your bench.
