Da Leafs!!! The Leafs Knock Off The Canucks In Six

   Hello Leafs Nation...How do you like your new look Maple Leafs now????????. I've got to admit I'm quite impressed with how well they've played their first four exhibition games so far.

   If you were looking for more team toughness well look no further, our good friend Brian Burke has added size and toughness from top to bottom it seems. They made Philadelphia look like a bunch of school girls last night with a fight filled 5-4 victory.

   I know what you nay sayers are going to say...the leafs always look good in the exhibition games. It's true, but just look at what they did last year. They came out and played 60 minutes a game.

   If they manage to play 60 minutes a game throughout this season I predict a lot more wins. For one they've added some toughness to the line up with the likes or Orr, Komisarek, and Exelby, now we won't be getting pushed off of the puck in the corners as much or having loose guys standing in front of our goalies.

   A healthy Toskala should make a huge difference in our back end not to mention "The Monster" as a competitive back up to keep Toskala working hard for his job as the #1.

   The addition of Beauchemin gives Kaberle the room to skate from behind his net all the way up to the opponents blue line to set up that pretty passing play that will result in (my prediction) 15-20 goals this season.

   #23 is due to have a break out season, I see Ponikarovsky scoring 25-30 goals this season if he stays healthy.

   Jason Blake should score 20-30 this year without any problems.

   Watch Grabovski this year...this guy could be the next Pavel Bure and this could be the year he shines.

   Some of the young guys are looking great...Bozak especially...but with Kessel set to take the ice in November I'm not sure the young guns will be up in the big league this season.

   I think it's safe to say Leaf Nation this season Da Leafs are going to make the playoffs. And if the exhibition games are what we can expect from this team I find it hard to believe that any team will be able to knock the Leafs off in a seven game series...Toronto get ready for a parade in June 2010 Da Leafs are going to end the drought...my prediction...Stanley Cup Finals Toronto vs Vancouver...Toronto in 6...That's all for now Sports Fans...
